Tree Following - episode 12, the circle is almost complete

I have now been following this quince tree for twelve months.  In that time it has given me the beauty of foliage and blossom and the promise only a quincelet can bring.
It also gave me false hope as I did not achieve a mature fruit.

Last month the last leaf fell and this month the bobbles on the end of the branches show new growth just waiting to burst into leaf.
The excitement begins again.

    We have a Meeches Prolific quince tree and the fruits are worth the wait

    You will need to construct a dictionary for technical quince terms. Quniclets with bobbles at the end of its branches. Delightful.
