Tree Following: June 2022 - it's looking good

It's all a bit exciting at the moment.  It is that time of year when it is all to play for.

It is too early for the Quince Count just yet, but quincelets are forming.
Yes, plural, quinclets.  There are several on both trees.
Not all the blossoms have set, I cannot pretend I am buying crates to store all the potential quinces in.
But there is plumping and that is always a good sign.
It is also the time of year when the quince trees start to shoot with new growth.  It feels like they are so full of energy, making the quinces, keeping the quinces and also putting on more inches.  We have even had quite a bit of rain over the last few days and some sunny days: the perfect recipe to keep the trees healthy.

I am looking forward to see how many quincelets will be left in July.

I told you it was exciting.....

More followed trees can be found being stewarded by Squirrelbasket.

Take care and be kind.
