Tree Following August 2021 - The Quince Count Commences

Yes it is that time of year again, we are now properly starting The Quince Count 2021.  Just remember that this has to be done in the voice/style of The Count from Sesame Street and all will be well.

One Quince

Quince Major goes first..... 

Two Quinces

I would say 'only' two, but after the year the quince trees have had with late frost and a dry Spring that is two more than I expected.

Quince One

and Quince Minor wades in with one quince to count.  This is the result of the late blossom triggered by said late frost/dry Spring, so it is a late baby and very welcome it is too.

There have been bigger counts and a quince now is not a guarantee of a quince next month, but for now I am happy; every quince is considered a gift.
