A bag full of plants

One of the most joyous things about having gardening friends is their generosity.  We know our plant addictions and we share our joy and our cuttings and seeds and other plants that we have propagated.  So when I was asked the other day if I would like some left over plants I of course said yes.
A sharing place was agreed and I came home with these bags full of plants.
Inside were some rather nice yellow flowered hardy gladioli: Carolina Primrose.
A huge chunk of Baptisia 'Twilight Prairie Blues',
and several Clematis plants: Amazing London and Amazing Oslo.  I have had a quick google to see what they look like and I now cannot wait for them to flower.
There was also this perennial Lathyrus latifolius 'Blushing Bride'.
and this, a mystery tuber.  It looks like a dahlia tuber to me so....
.... I potted it up and labelled it carefully and now I shall wait to see if it grows whilst humming Toyah Willcox songs.
I will report back on their progress as the growing season progresses.
