Tree Following - An anxious wait

So I was already worried that the quince tree might have been peaking too early.  Blossom was forming very early this year and we are not out of the frost period yet.
Well, look, look at that!  Its not a good sign is it?  Have I lost my hope of a quince before I have really begun this year?
This doesn't look great either.
This looks more hopeful.  Not all the blossom buds have been blackened by frosts, there is still quite a lot that have still to get that far in unfurling.
So I have some hope of a quincelet this year, just a little.

    I hope things improve for you. I'm also hoping that my tiny cherry will flower and not fall victim to a late frost.

    Well you and me both. We are still in the period of frost. In fact - more snow predicted for tonight and tomorrow. Hummmmmmm!
