Product Review - Gro-Sure Smart Ground Cover

I was asked a few weeks ago if I wanted to trial some Gro-Smart Ground Cover, which is made by Westland. I hesitated a little before agreeing as I am not someone who generally mulches areas of the garden. I received an invitation to visit Charles Dowding's garden near Shepton Mallet to find out more about 'No Dig' vegetable growing and to learn about his new book ' Charles Dowding's No dig gardening Course 1 ' I am going to whisper very quietly that I try my hardest not to dig anyway, which actually made the reason to go even more acute as I was fascinated to see what he had to say. and when I say fascinated, I mean I was prepared and did drive for three hours to get there and back in a day. How we can help support closed nurseries, gardens and gardeners

Never has the word 'unprecedented' been used so much as it is at the moment. We are living in the strangest and darkest times for decades. Public places including gardens are closed, no gatherings of more than two people are allowed and non-essential businesses are closed. We have to do this, we know that we must keep safe from Covid-19 but we also know that millions of people from every part of life have lost their livelihood overnight.
