Wordless Wednesday - trillium-love

  1. I envy your Trilliums which won't grow here. So nice to have bumblebees, with this early spring it seems as we have more bumblebees then ever before, I am so glad.

  2. Sadly not my trilliums, I wish they were, this was taken at Evenley Wood at the weekend. I have never managed to get them to grow.

  4. I am ever-so-slightly besotted by Trillium. They're a bit pricey, so it's always lovely to see a good display elsewhere - especially in a wood.

  5. Wish our trilliums would start bulking up like that!

  6. Mum and I walked back into the woods and found the red trilliums. I think the white ones were our favourites though. Thanks for telling us about Evenley. A lovely treat.

    1. Really pleased you enjoyed the afternoon, I hadn't been there before it was a nice spot.

  7. I've reached the conclusion that rather than buying any more I should just bury £10 in the garden, it has more chance of growing.

  8. I had exactly the same experience with the white one I purchased. Expensive annuals! The trouble is I forget all that when I see one on a sales bench..
