Tree Following June 2026 - Quincelets - where are you?

Or the Quince Count commences - brace yourself.....

A bit high up, but there on Quince Major are two quinces.  I couldn't see any more, but frankly Quince Major has not been doing well in recent years so I consider two good.

Quince Minor: I could only see one quince.  It is early in the year to feel a bit downhearted, but both did have lots of blossom and quite a few quincelings so be reduced to what, is in effect, fairly usual numbers for these trees, still feels a bit disappointing.

Of course more could be lurking that I did not spot, quinces are tricksy we know this.  

I shall not be downhearted: at least there are quincelets and where there are quincelets there is hope.

Time will tell....
